About the song, Muerte:
Muerte is a reggae inspired jam that grooves across a psychedelic brew of styles, sounds and aesthetics to create something that that is entirely it's own. "It's reggae vibe perfectly captures the carefree nature that we have developed as a band. " Rhythm guitarist and keyboardist, Dustin Soares, proclaims. "It also shows our musical diversity, while reflecting some of our deeper inspirations. It just makes sense for us."
Lead singer and bassist, Noirre, croons and chants one of the song's only lyrics, "Leave me alone; I'm in control here" on top of the groove - giving the listener an extremely personal look inside of the singer. Noirre explains, "It's a super fun song, man. Aside from that, people should decide what deeper meaning lies beneath for THEM. You just have to listen." Noirre continues, "I don't really like getting too deep into why I sang those words, personally. Let's just say that I was thumbing my nose at death and bringing my self to ever expansive, and at times, terrifying new heights. Lessons learned. Enjoy."
